“Excellent customer service”

Have regularly shopped here for past few years - far cheaper then Screwfix/ B&Q and all the main DIY sheds, though the price differences on some products are not far apart now.. My last order in Nov 2015 included some LED lightbulbs which were installed immediately. In Jan 2016 two of the bulbs stopped working far ahead of their average 25,000 hours lifespan. Was going to buy two new ones but phoned the Toolstation customer helpline which I got through to very quickly. A quick explanation resulted in a no quibble offer to send me two new replacement bulbs with next day delivery, at no cost to me.

Simple, effective excellent customer service. What has cost them few quid in replacement costs have resulted in securing my loyalty to them and prompting me to write this review. Though one could argue they may be legally required to replace faulty goods, the point being they did so without any drama or inconvenience to myself.

This review has given me the opportunity to comment on my local Aberdeen branch where i have always receive prompt and effective service. Rarely have I found items out of stock. I have also used their website and found deliveries come amazingly quick especially as I am in NE Scotland. i usually get goods the next day without paying extra postage premium. Another thing I like about Toolstation is the have free hot drink vending machines in store, this little gimmick/offer is a nice touch not found elsewhere.

Assuming Toolstation to be a profitable company I hope they don't change their current business model. Quick delivery, free hot drinks in store, great service, great prices. Well done, I am a fan!

Only thing i am less keen on is the website, sometimes a bit tricky to find stuff TBH.
