So I book a 2 night break for my daughter and her fiancé who is serving in the armed forces. They have a new baby and need a break away. I paid a £100 . Oops!! They discover they have another baby on way and now have 2 Babies under 1!! Time together is limited and daughter spends most time on her own with 2 babies until fiancé returns home.
I suggest they use their voucher for a well deserved break! We discover the voucher expired December! Oh no!! But they have obviously had a challenging time and didn't realise! I contact this company and ask for help! Told no. Lack of interest and no desire to try and sort anything out. Yes I appreciate the expiry date but extenuating circumstances surely! Still refuse to help. So what happens to my £100?? Activity superstore keep it. So they have been given £100 and no gift/ or end product is given in return. I buy 4-5 gifts per year from these. No more. Buy a gift. Com or virgin will be given mine, my friends and my families custom from now on. I hope activity superstore enjoy my hard earned money and revel in the fact they refused to help a young struggling couple, one of who, being in the armed forces , ensures they enjoy freedom and democracy. Pat yourselves on the back activity superstore. You must be proud! And to top it all off I have just found out that my other daughter whom I bought a £200 voucher for at the same time has extended hers for 6 months for a small charge of £20!!! Can you explain why she has been afforded this option but my other daughter hasn't ???
