“Poor insurance service ”

Purchased over priced insurance waiver, which I know is available on some deals not others. At airport was offered upgrade but did not dare take it as I didn't know if insurance would be honoured. (my default understanding is that insurance will wriggle if they can so don't risk it). No way to check easily when you're at the desk. Hideous customer service.
