I am having similar problems with my 3 commercial boilers in my hotel: Eccleston Square Hotel. I Keep having to replace the heat exchangers in (Buderus GB 162) because they corrode after 2-3 years. I flushed all the water out (as per their recommendation) and had the water dosed regularly. In my opinion, these boilers are made cheaply in China and are not fit for purpose. After years of investigation, I believe the problem comes from a metallurgy problem associated with the alluminium used to make the heat exchangers. It has cost my company £35K to date, which includes Bosch engineer call outs, independent engineer call outs, parts and new heat exhangers as well as compensation to guests. I even had to install new plate heat exchangers on my calorifiers because they were completely blocked up by the aluminium from the heat exchangers. I am left with my head between my hands because Bosch are doing nothing to help us out and refuse any responsibility. I don't know where to turn. My entire heating system was bran new 5 years ago and today it looks as though it is 30 years old. The independent plumbing company has never seen anything like it.
