“Somewhat disappointed!”

This is the fourth car we have bought from the Car People, and always felt they had been upfront and honest with us - also recommend to family and friends because of this! On this occasion they were only willing to offer £4500 for our trade in claiming that the car had to go to auction. Despite us believing it was worth more and trying to negotiate an improved offer, they were adamant that they could offer no more. So we were shocked to see our trade in on their forecourt at £6000, seven days later!
This has raised questions about their honesty with us and has made us believe we should look else where in the future!
