“Insureandgo take renewal direct debits despite cancelling”

I contacted Insure and Go to ensure that they did not renew an annual policy that was no longer needed. They said we had to prove that the policy had been paid for by us. I sent them a copy of bank statement with correct payment, date, payer and payee on it.

Insure and go stupidly said it was not enough proof after previously saying this was.
Then they billed our a/c anyway.

I am taking them to the Small Claims court and Insurance ombudsman.
