I took out some car insurance for my wife in June as I have always been the main driver due to being a British soldier and always travelling about.
When I took the policy out they asked for proof of no claims from me as a named driver and also a copy of our driving licences. At the time I was going through my HGV licence with the army and they had my licence. I explain this when I took the policy out and they said I could have a grace period of 2 months. That didn't happen they took the double payment for the 1st month then cancelled my wifes insurence. After a long argument on the phone they reinsurened her but had to pay the double payment once again.
It has been 6 months now and we bought a new car, phoned up to let them know and they have told me they cant insure her, so I will have to cancel the policy and start her no claims again.
Then the cheeky sods charged a cancellation fee of £45 then an extra fee of £27 for administration !
I never really leave reviews but we feel so screwed over by how they treated us, it's shocking.
So please, don't fall in the same trap we did!
