My Mk 4 astra is a 1.7CDTI and it is the pain in my life. It is sluggish, rough over speed bumps, I have had no end of repairs on it, the seats are very un-comfortable and the dash is dull and boaring.



I dont know how people get good MPG from them because I only get 40 max driving like my granny. for the size of the engine and the aid of the turbo I would expect plenty of power at my disposal but P reg 1.0L ford fiestas and 1.2 nova merits pull away and leave me standing on motorways.



If any one is planning on buying one of these........ Save your money and buy a robin reliant. I would be much happyer i think.
