Parcel was loaded for delivery at 06:40a.m. Despite frequent checking throughout the day for updates on the tracking system (hehe - one of their better jokes), I finally checked at 15:30hrs to find about 4 updates had been added, including the last one, "Address issues - parcel back in Newport Depot", which is where it started from.
When I contacted Newport, the level of concern shown was only obvious by it's complete absence; could not care less about the Customer on the other end. I was told it was a new driver & he was having problems. It's so difficult to find somewhere 30 miles away when you only have the Post Code, Sat Nav & the address & phone number to work with.
But everything is going to be OK - a manager has now been kind enough to guarantee my (24 hour delivery) will be delivered in two days time.
As Customers, we can only hope this company goes out of business ASAP, such that someone who cares can move into the vacuum that is parcelforce.
