“No concept of on-time arrival or departure”

written by sueschaef on 31/12/2015

Also, 5979 from LAX to Eugene, 12/28

Mesa, arrived 40 minutes late to LAX. As a result missed my flight 5979. Was rebooked from 12/27 but the time between 5629 and 5979 was barely sufficient if things went perfectly. Had to move between buildings 6 and 4 in LAX plus take a bus. Thus I missed my connection from LAX to EUG, which was only 40 minutes. This was rebooked by AA. Their system should know that departures are so far separated from arrivals at LAX.

Compass, took off .5 hour late from LAX to Eugene. Despite what was seen on screen behind podium, the flight attendant insisted we would arrive at 10:15 scheduled time. we sat at the gate for an additional half hour. Also they told us that because of deteriorating conditions in Eugene, we might have to land in Seattle. This was not true, conditions in Eugene were about 40 degrees, overcast no wind. We arrived at 10:30. There was no bad weather in Eugene.

At least my baggage arrived with me. So I'll give them half a star for that.
From Milwaukee to Phoenix, we had a woman pilot, who got us to Phoenix about a half hour early. A whole star for that.
Full failure for Mesa and Compass and for the rebooking system.
