Although off-season, we had no problem meeting the rep at the indicated meeting point and were then taken swiftly to the car depot a short 4 minute ride from the airport. The paperwork was ready and within a few minutes we were on our way. Great that we had the option to receive a full tank of petrol and return it full, Handy that there was a petrol station just down the road.
No pressurised sales pitch or insistence on taking additional insurances. They were very much aware of how Economy Car Hire operate and the fact that we were fully covered. Unlike other unscrupulous car rental companies, no swipe of your card is taken except for the copy of the card number of which the expected security and Excess guarantee is held. However this is immediately returned to you when you return the car. No swipe of the card or block held. Fantastic, hassle free hire with friendly service provided. I dare say the best service provided in recent times when travelling to Spain. Unfortunate that Hyper Rent a Car is only based in the Balearic Islands, as their great service is an example to other car rental companies on the mainland.
