Joined OVO three months ago and provided my meter readings for gas and electricity. Although the electricity reading was sent through to my previous supplier OVO failed to send the reading for gas. I was in considerable credit with my previous supplier, Atlantic, and quickly received a refund for electricity. When asked why the gas reading wasn't sent across OVO told me they wanted to see three months reading to check the figures were accurate. Considering they are my closing/opening readings I fail to see what a difference it will make but fortunately for me Atlantic were quite happy to take the reading from me and refund direct.
Since joining OVO I have submitted monthly readings but find that the so called automated readings don't actually work. Although I have submitted readings the usage table is not available. As such I am unable to keep an accurate check on whether my payments are correct or whether I should increase or decrease them. All in all very disappointing.
