“Right where do i start, first thing is i should had...”

Right where do i start, first thing is i should had read the reviews before going to john land fill site holiday park. listed below is a few things wrong with the chalet i had on the 19th of april



chalet smelt damp, rotting , mould everywhere, bath full of stains, carpet dirty ,dead spiders in the bath, mass of dead black flies under the toilet,1 portable heater to heat chalet attached in the bedrooms, door wouldnt close tidy and windows making the entire shed freezing ,rust on the fridge, furniture was 12 years old as my partner had the same furniture when she went there at the age of 14, linen was left wet and smelt musty, dirty socks left on the floor from previous tenants, walls were cracking and coming away from being damp,could see the springs in the worn mattress which gave me a bad back ,the shed is in need of a drastic lick of paint and some serious decorating. this was all in chalet 134



I proceeded to complain to reception where they didnt pay much attention and gave a snide remark when i mentioned about the cleanliness. the guy soon changed his attitude when my partner showed him the pictures of the filth we were in ...... yes pictures... id advised to take as much as you can on your phone.



they soon moved us out of that one and put us into chalet n0. 60 , this was a gold chalet i believe. this one also smelt musty and damp with a single plug in heater to heat this entire chalet. linen in here also smelt as if it was washed and left to dry in the washing machine was not impressed . the bath was a joke and could only really fit a 8 year old child in it .. after all this i opted for leaving to go home early as living in these conditions made mine and my partners ashtama really bad



for all you that have voted this a 5 star you aint got standards by far .. yes it is located in the woods so would get some of the musty smell ....... but mould ?? seriously can make a person ill with chest problems .



in my opinion this park should be shut down due to health and safety
