“Don't touch with a barge pole!!”

I would warn anyone who is thinking to start their own business to stay well away from the UK Business Funding Centre. They take a fee of £300 and give you a database of loan companies and funding for types of businesses that I have never even heard of and you must be based in London or the Highlands of Scotland. When I saw the database, I called up the day after for a refund as it had no relevance to my type of business. Spent an hour arguing with a guy who told me that he would not refund the money until I had proof of funding. Take me 4 months to get my money back. Terrible company, never anyone available to speak to. Stay away from them at all costs!!!!
