I had my tyres replaced in Hammersmith branch of Kwik-Fit. As a result I was overcharged for the amount of £320. The price I had to pay for the tyres was £247.50 per tyre, when in Kwik-Fit website they sell the same tyres for the price of £170.
There was no information about the prices available in the office. When I discovered this discrepancy I tried to stop the order but the manager, said it was too late. When I asked him a reason for such huge difference the answer was “Buying online is always cheaper”.
When I complained about the overcharge I was suggested a refund of £100.
When I complained on the company website I was given misleading answer: "Unfortunately, our centres do not have access to our on-line prices and are not able to compare accordingly. We do not have the authorisation to conclude a price match here at Customer Services, but with appropriate supporting documentation this may be offered at the centre managers discretion at the time of quotation and fitting."
I will never use Kwik-Fit again and do not recommend to do it to anybody.
