Domain hosting is a no-brainer - once your site is created, you do nothing, and get paid money year after year. Your only work is marketing, to attract more customers.
So it's sad that domain-monster's website is still badly broken after many years. It's very slow, with lots of clicking required (many clicks to new pages to do simple actions that should be on front page).
If you open a link in a new tab ... that breaks the site, and it corrupts your domain info (overwrites the selected domain info with a different domain). It's OK so long as you don't hit "save" - but it's far too easy to hit save without noticing that the site has corrupted youd data.
They know this - I logged a bug about it 3 years ago. But they couldn't care less. They'll carry on raking in the money year after year.
Meanwhie, their pricing gets more and more expensive, with more lies about the price. e.g. today they claim "5.99 a year for .com", but that only applies if you pre-buy TWENTY FIVE YEARS of hosting.
