Hidden fees and limits. Poor communication within Citibank, among departments and personnel, regarding resolution of consumer issues.
I had a terrible time setting up my EZchecking account with Citibank Internet Banking, due to the poor system at Citibank itself. Their email responses to complaints are canned and impersonal i.e. computer generated. They charge $3.00 to electronically transfer money from my Citibank account to an external account I own. They cannot set up automatic (monthly) transfers of funds in either direction between Citibank and external accounts, and there are various other hidden fees and limitations.
