General Comments
I find the Ford Focus CMAX 1.6 TDCi Trend to be an excellent all round car. The driving position suits both my wife and myself, with enough adjustment for both of us. Fuel economy is quite remarkable, if you drive with that in mind. Most of our journeys are 3 miles to town cold, and 3 miles back on twisty undulating roads. Not economical driving conditions, and the car returns around 40 mpg. On long runs it returns around 60 mpg. If you want a bit of power then it is there. The rear seat arrangement is clever, and would accomodate 4 adults fine. I bought this as a replacement for a Focus estate, and I do prefer it. I stuck to the Focus because the last one never went wrong, and I hope this one doesn't either. I can't really fault it, but if I had to, I'd say that I don't really like it's looks.
