“shoddy aftersales”

I am a local builder, that has previously recommended Howdens to my customers. However never again will I recommend them to anybody after the completely disgraceful aftersales experience my customer and myself have had this week. Having firstly demanded that my client take stock of their kitchen (even though it was not being fitted for a further two weeks), we then discovered that not only had they designed a cupboard that could not fit into the corner of the kitchen, but the kitchen was missing many pieces. Due to this fact, when we came to fit the kitchen, we were unable to....and what was originally only a two day job has now turned into three days, at a cost to myself and the customer. I have spent so much time on the phone to the Liverpool Speke branch, having no luck and nobody ever returns my calls....an absolute disgrace. Not once have they offered compensation or a goodwill payment. the kitchen is still not finished and we are still missing kickerboards. This has not only made me look incompetent, but has left a very stressed 76 year old woman without a fitted kitchen, and has thrown me back on all work I had planned in for the week. A disgrace.
