“Stich up”

Did the 5 day course at their Barnet centre, which isn't in Barnet. Whilst the course manager was really nice and couldn't have been more helpful I found my instructor to be a little abrupt, impatient at times and even disinterested.

Having never had any driving experience at all I was a total novice and made numerous mistakes on the first day as can be expected. On the second day my instructor had somebody elses test to do so 1 hours driving lost of which I got 20 minutes back at the expense of my break. The whole operation seems geared to drivers who have had a few hours driving under their belts

Most of the instructors seemed to be in a hurry to shoot off all of the time and you were often back at the centre in ample time as they had other private lessons booked which they wanted to be at.

On the last day I found my instructor somewhat dismissive of me and noticed she was using the controls a lot which I thought was uncalled for, they might well have sat in the driving seat as I was merely aiming the car in the right direction at one point.

I passed my theory and put in for my test a week or so afterwards to avoid the possible test date clashing with prior commitments - before the test I was informed of a change of car which wasn't great, it was totally different to the one I had trained in - the difference in controls led to a failed test.

I won't be wasting any more of my time and money on this outfit and I would recomend you didn't either - go elsewhere.
