“Recovery time too long”

Broke down in Worcester. Breakdown arrived in about half an hour and took me to a service station outside Oxford, making a big detour from my route down to London. There I was dumped to wait for another vehicle for well over an hour, apparently due to unforeseen circumstances. I arrived home very late and very tired. The second driver was an extremely nice man who, seeing I was cold and tired, bought me a coffee at Oxford and refused payment for it.
