“Carrier bags or not”

I went shopping in marks & spencer at Handforth Dean I took my own bags so when the shop assistant asked did I need a bag I said no thank you I have my own she proceeded to scan my goods she started to push the items back to me she did not take off hangers or fold them up my daughter had to stand there and fold them for me she was so rude I can only think it was because I didn't purchase a bag. I don't know why but something niggled me about my shopping so me and my daughter stood to one side and checked our receipts and it turned out that she had not charged us for 8 items so we gave them to one of there floor managers and explained what had happened how we had been treated, I am just glad that we didn't go out of the shop other wise we might have been stopped by the security guard. I think after nearly spending £500 that they could have folded it up and treat customers with a bit of respect. I think this not giving carrier bags would make it easy for shop lifters as you don't' know who has bought items and who has not.s
