Be aware of RAC's very dubious business practices - they will auto-enrol you to be able to repeatedly take money from your credit card. I moved house and they managed to get over £250 from me before I realised what was happening. Despite not having used their services ( or even realising I was a member!) they have a very standard refusal to provide any refunds which is clearly designed to protect their income. Avoid joining the RAC and if you are a member check they haven't tied you in to their auto-renewal
