“horror at asda”

Groceries delivered on 20th oct 2015..missing chilled items to value of £23..rang.assured they would redeliver..told the store would call me..they did not.rang their cust services several times daily..after 4 days of constant ringing and being told the same, I then sent another email..saying how big this complaint was getting..as I had to do a round trip of 34 miles to a supermarket I get rest of my shopping as I had a dinner party on 21st oct. I had to take 2 hours unpaid from work in order to go and get it.i sent email and written copy to head office for cheif executive. ..and guests what now day 12 and no answer!!!!!!. The customer service call centre which I assume is overseas, have constantly put in the requests for the store to contact me..so they have done there bit..they are disgusted that this has not been sorted out..update is they refunded the missing goods on 30 oct..but still no call from store and I was told that they have to ring..I refused £5.00 compensation from call centre as this is all they can offer. ( it is down to store level to give anything higher) they said I was well within my rights to ask for more...I have had 12 days of constant ringing, and several calls during day and night . recorded delivery letters gone off and still no calls from store or head office..today is now day 13 and I will ring again as case is still open and c.service. call centre will not close this case as they say it has to be resolved...it is quite clear that asda do not give a "fig" about customer service
