“They messed us about and wanted us to pay”

Thomas Cook altered the times of both the outward and return flights we had booked to Fuerteventura, in both cases by about three hours, which was not convenient for us. I rang and found that they would not permit us to switch to other airlines offering better times (only by cancelling with TC and losing the whole payment). They found better TC times within a day of the original flights but wanted us to pay something like £110 per flight per person. We have flown with just about every budget airline in recent years and this is by far the worst experience we have had. Under no circumstances will I book with Thomas Cook again.
