“Western Treasures- Fantastic Holiday!”

We have just returned from our Archers Western Treasures holiday and have had a fantastic time! This was our first Archers Holiday and it won't be our last. We travelled about 2,300 miles and this would have been exhausting had we attempted the journey under our own steam. The tour director was very knowledgeable, approachable and professional. His input really added to the quality of the tour. The driver was extremely competent and both members of staff were delightful companions. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday to others who want their holiday to focus on seeing and experiencing amazing sites, but who are not reliant on the need for a vibrant nightlife every night to make their holiday worthwhile.
The reason for giving the holiday a four rather than a five star rating is the quality of the accommodation which on a few occasions was a little tired, but to be fair it was always clean and comfortable and more than served its purpose. However, sometimes the accommodation was also first class- the hotels in L.A and Flagstaff were really good, and the hotel in Las Vegas could not have been more central. The holiday was not cheap, but for the quality of the tour I believe it represented excellent value for money.
Would be travellers should be aware that there are early starts on all travelling days ( 8.30 am is typical ) but this is necessary to ensure you get as long as possible at each destination so to us this was no problem. Also be prepared to be pretty tired at the end of the holiday, but do expect to have had a wonderful time with lots of great adventures and memories.
We won't forget this holiday; it certainly wasn't relaxing, it was exhilarating and we feel we have had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Our international travelling companions were very good company and added to the experience. Some were single travellers, some were with partners or family members. As a group we all got on well together and we feel we have made good friends.
This is a deservedly positive review. We are so glad we made the choice to go on this holiday.
