“Lost bag ”

I will avoid this airline at all cost and will advise anyone not to trust them. They lost my bag on a business trip to Mexico. Ironically they charged me extra to check the bag. After waiting hours in the airport in Mexico I gave a description and my receipts. I was told it would be delivered to my hotel. This was In late August. I returned back to the us and found no report had been filed. I provided all information and spoke with several people by phone and email whom advised the claim was in process. All along they note they have all the information required from me including an itemized list of contents and it will be settled soon. Several months later I received e letter stating their investigation revealed I did not provide information about the bags contents and because of this they cannot resolve this. If Saturday night live needs any material this is the ace to get it. Even worse I call to ask about this only to get a message that states everyone is busy and that I should call back. Then they hang up. American Airlines is a textbook example of how not to do it. I just booked my next ttip with united and will never fly aa again
