The coach driver 'threw us' off the coach as he had not heard of our apartment.
The apartment they booked us into didn't exist; we were left stranded in Spain for hours with the most unhelpful customer care team I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with being as obstructive as possible.
The apartment they booked us into was in a different city to the Reception and then back.
The accommodation was meant to have self-catering facilities;
The issues with the apartment were:
1. The fuse box was exposed and not covered;
2. To turn the lights on, you had to touch the fuse box initially;
3. Plug sockets were overloaded;
4. The boiler was literally hanging on two claws on the walls;
5. The boiler was not safe to use;
6. The microwave was balanced onto a very thin piece of wood, with was connected to the same single overloaded socket as the boiler;
7. The air vent in the shower led directly into the back of the boiler;
8. Plug sockets were literally hanging out of the wall with the wires expired;
9. The sink in the bathroom had a big crack through the basin and was unsafe to use;
10. The apartment was filthy, the cupboards and minimal utensils had gone rusty and there were no useable utensils for cooking; and
11. Even the toilet still had faeces in the bowl!
We were unable to cook or wash for 3 days due to the facilities being dangerous!
The company agreed to reimburse costs and are now avoiding all correspondence. We now have no option but to take legal action - the costs incurred were more than the cost of the holiday!!!!
Do not use Global.hoppers they ruined our holiday!!!
