Just got back from a week long stay in Ilfracombe at the John Fowler holiday Park. The chalet was very basic the bed was very small it was supposed to be a double. Although quite clean the chalet had a very damp musty smell. The camp shop was only open for 4 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening saying that very close to a Tesco store that is open 8 am - 10pm. The amusements were only open for 5 hours in the evening. The swimming pool looked very nice but had no resident lifeguard. The Bar staff and stripey's were very nice. Cabaret was OK but have definitely seen better. All that said it was lovely weather.
One thing i really want to add is the staff in the farmhouse kitchen across the road were amazing my partner is wheat and gluten intolerant and when i asked what on the menu was suitable for him to eat the chef came out and spoke to us and explained everything he could have.
