“hotel palmanova review”

written by SheaDavis118 on 19/10/2015

I am a disabled person who uses a wheelchair when I booked my holiday I requested a ground floor room when I arrived I was given a room on the 4th floor as I found out when I arrived this particular has no ground floor rooms at all or disabled adapted rooms this was not told to me when booking, I dont know if you have this info on record or if it was a mistake but luckily after some discussion at reception they was able to move me to the 1st floor in a bigger room as the first room they give me not only was it on the 4th floor I could not even get my wheelchair in because it was to narrow, but I still had to crawl into bathroom as the doorway was to narrow to get my chair in, as mentioned above luckily I was able to get out of my chair to manage this if I wasn't able to we would have had a real problem because all the rooms are the same so wouldn't have been able to stay in the hotel. The rooms are very clean and the maids came in everyday, the food at the hotel is a bit hit and miss especially if you have young children as we did in our group because it was more Spanish dishies, also entertainment wise it didn't start till 9.30 at night but through the day there is water polo, zumba, shooting and archery. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and the reps are the same it was nearly the end of the season so the kids club had finished but the reps still managed to get all kids involved and they were presented with certificates at night if they won.
