Having read some bad feedback on Finnair, I thought I would just take it with a pinch of salt, how wrong I was. First they got my name wrong and refused to change it without a £55 fee. My connecting flight was delayed, not a big problem I hear you say, but once we got going only to be served what can only be described as a 2 day old sausage and tomatoes sandwich for my dinner on the start of a 11 hour flight, was to say the least primitive. The food was so bad I actually witnessed a Finnish family desperately trying to get served at Burger King before embarking on plane for return trip from Bangkok. The entertainment system on short haul is nonexistent and the long haul, well I was left thinking they needn't have bothered. Getting on/off plane is onto tarmac and walk to terminal or bus is standard practice. The whole experience was pitiful. Never again.
