“Do not get caught out”

I have read the reviews on here and have found so many people in the same situation as myself. If you make the mistake of booking online make sure your phone is glued to your pocket as the 'booking' you make is just a request and you do not actually get given a booking until someone rings you back to let you know if the time you have 'booked' is ok or not. Dispute having an actual confirmation email that states 'booking reference' on the top with your reg as a number and also stating that 'your booking will be confirmed by 6pm tomorrow by email. If there is a problem we will ring you' I had no missed calls and no messages, day of the booking arrives, I ring auto glass only to get an actual idiot who was extremely rude, ignorant and not trained in customer service. He explained the online process does not secure a booking and after requesting to speak to a manager they were 'all in a meeting' one would ring me back.. Two days later no phone call. I had booked the day off work so decided to ring again to try my luck with someone else, maybe I could get an appointment booked? I explained the situation to another woman who was cheeky enough to tell me I should complain to marketing as obviously that's who my problem is with. Are you having a laugh? She cut over me several times and did not care what I had to say.
I phoned my local windscreen place straight after and they fit me in first thing the next morning, £70 cheaper and it was done within 15 minutes.The best part about it all? The owner of auto glass owns the largest glass warehouse around so the guy who fitted mine used the exact same product auto glass would have.
