“Unbelievable service”

I purchased 2 pairs of spectacles from Spex4less in 2014. The first pair were prescription sunglasses. Excellent service, the specs were delivered 2 days after placing the order. They fitted perfectly and were optically excellent. Shortly afterwards I purchased a pair of varifocal spectacles and was pleasantly surprised at the ease with which I was able to order the specs. Again, delivery was remarkably quick (less than half the time taken by my optician to prepare previous pairs) and again I was delighted with the fit and optical quality of the glasses. Regrettably, the day before we were due to leave on holiday in October 2015 my spectacles were severely damaged accidentally - in that both sides were snapped off adjacent to the hinges. A temporary fix enabled me to use them for driving and on my return I telephoned Spex4less, the helpful young lady thought that they could be repaired and suggested that I returned them with a covering letter. The spectacles were posted from Cornwall on Friday afternoon, I received a telephone call from Spex4less on Monday morning informing me that they had been received, I asked about payment for the repair and was told that it was unlikely that I would be charged. The specs were returned to me as good as new in Cornwall by Tuesday morning's post. I was not charged for the repair. Incredible old world service from a modern hi-tech company! I could not recommend Spex4less more highly. KDee
