“salesman lied to us”

as we were moving house, the salesman at Basingstoke promised they would not deliver our sofa till 21 October when we moved in. just got a phone call today (6 October)saying it had to be delivered tomorrow - obviously not to new house. now we have to move it to new house our self. so paid £55 for nothing!
