The policy offered was remarkable value but a few of the conditions were a little off putting. Having to pay £30 even if you find the policy unsuitable within the first 14 days seemed a tad harsh.I was also asked to supply proof of my no claims bonus in seven days. My previous insurer was Budget and I found that the address on my Budget renewal letter I used to confirm my NCB was exactly the same as the one for Dail Direct. I would have thought that the agent could have looked this up whilst we were on the phone rather than me having to photocopy the NCB letter and post it. In this digital age it seemed a bit pedestrian.
These two points aside the policy is great value but as to the whether daildirect are a good company only time will tell but first impressions are promising.
