We took our 11 year old car to WBAC after getting it valued online by them. When the person went round the car and marked paperwork for paint chips and scratches and after putting details in to their system they offered to buy it for two fifths of the original quote.
The person we dealt with was pleasant to start with, but got abrupt when we pointed out it's 11 years old. He seemed to think that as we had a full service history it would be in showroom condition.
If the online valuation gave a between range and then they advise that it's more towards the lower range then maybe people would not get annoyed.
If you have an old car do not bother going as the impression we got was they don't want them.
