Upon arrival, we were double booked. The Manager fixed that eventually. We arrived in our room, it was extremely cold. We turned up the heat and went to our event.
When we returned, the room was still cold. It was late we searched for more blankets there were none. The next morning we called the front desk and were told it's an old Hotel, the heating system works on old fashioned technology and given a room heater. Woke up that night freezing again, room heater not working either.
The hotel was booked, and we couldn't get out at check out time due to the fact that only one of the two elevators were working and packed full of other customers trying to leave.
We took my sister in law to the bar, ice water apparently means 2 ice cubes and a snobby bartender.
Take some good advice and flip an extra 50 for the Hilton across the street.
