Our first ever claim
We needed our back windscreen replaced and placed a call with hastings at 8.45am, we were told we would be called back within the hour and someone would come and fix it, they charged us there and then £65.
However, No-one rang, when I chased this at 1pm there was no progress report on our claim, when I rang back at 4.10pm there was still no progress report on our claim. when I rang back again at 6pm there was still no-one able to give me a straight answer as to whether it would get fixed or not.
Completely frustrating, we had a car with no back window all day and night, and no idea if anyone would come and fix it.
We say, if you can't get the small things right then there is no way I am trusting you as an insurance company to help us if something more serious happened.
