I have given one star because there is no ZERO option.
I can't stress enough how unprofessional this company is.
The insured person is 'grilled' regarding their reason for claiming and that is just the initial phone call.
When did the condition begin?; what are the symptoms? etc You have to explain and describe your personal symptoms to a man or woman who has no professional medical training. You are expected to divulge personal, painful and sensitive information to a telephone representative. I am disgusted by Aviva's practice in this area.
Then, they do their utmost to find an excuse to refuse cover, which has been paid for.
A member of my family was left in tears because of this company. They snooped and pried into all their personal symptoms, matters which caused a great deal of embarrassment and upset. Then they continued to look for loopholes and excuses in order to refuse them cover,
I do not recommend Aviva Health insurance.
I'm leaving and getting cover by a superior company.
