“Arrangement barely resembled what I ordered”

I ordered a lovely arrangement of hydrangeas and roses, in a sophisticated blend of muted pinks and lavender - the Vanilla Cupcake. The fact that it contained hydrangeas was very important to me, as that is the wife's favorite flower. When she sent me a photo of the flowers they received, I was mortified to find that, not only had they substituted chrysanthemums for hydrangeas, but it was a completely different color scheme (hot pink and white). And it was only vaguely the same shape; in fact, the way they'd arranged the flowers made it look lopsided.

The flowers they received were pretty enough, but NOT something I would have ordered, and certainly not appropriate for an anniversary gift - they looked like something you'd order for a girl's 16th birthday.

The worst part, though, is that when I complained to their customer service division, I received a stock reply saying that what I received was "made to excellent value and a great example of the kind of arrangements our florists create", and thus they were unable to proceed further with my complaint. I'm appalled - and even more so as I've since found that this same response has been received by dozen of other dissatisfied customers.
