“incompetent offshore technical support”

When this works, it is great. If however there is a fall off in service...76 Mb speed advertised.....45Mb coming in to the house and as little as 0-2 Mb in one of the bedrooms, then you are put through to worldwide technical centres who generally are as much use as a chocolate fireguard and even refused to send me the recommended router. I have spent nearly 9 hours dealing with them over the last 10 days (and been cut off once in the Phillipines after one hour and 9 minutes) I have spoken to numerous people in Hull and I still do not have the issue resolved.

We seem to be in a difficult position in the UK.....BT is horrendously expensive, poor customer services but a good technical set up.....Talktalk can be truly atrocious all round but much cheaper. Neither option is ideal and as yet I haven't found a middle ground between the Devil and the deep blue sea.

If anyone tells you TalkTalk have UK technical people, I have yet to speak to them and do not believe they exist
