“Drivalia - Alicante Airport”

First time using an off airport car rental and found the whole process very good indeed. Far, far better than queuing in the airport at other car hire companies we have used in the past.

Good price and the basic car we had was clean. There was the usual overpricing of the full tank of fuel at 80 euros for a Fiesta, but the car itself was only 42 euros for 10 days so can't complain. There was no hard sell for the extra insurance (I had taken my own out), very good English speaking staff.

The only thing I would improve upon is that the point of collection at the airport had no signs to indicate that Drivalia picked up there. When we arrived all 3 shuttle bus points were filled with buses from other companies and nobody else was waiting, slightly concerning but we only waited 10 minutes.

I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
