I ordered a washing machine because mine was broken. The delivery was booked in for at least a week later. They said they would text a time slot on the day but I never received a text so I called them to find out.
It then turned out that the delivery had been booked but the stock had been forgotten to book so the machine was not available.
There was only an option to rebook and wait another two weeks. No intent of locating a machine and delivering it still on the day! So I had to cancel the order, book another day off at work and I booked through AO where I get the delivery the next day for free!!!
What an appalling experience. That has taught me a lesson never to use Tesco Direct again !!!!
