“I have flat nipples and so bought the nipplettes....”

I have flat nipples and so bought the nipplettes. Although I find that they do work wonders my nipples get blisters and then scabs when the nipples burst. This happens after just a few hours of usage. Is this normal or am I doing it wrong? I am loath to stop trying as the results are so good otherwise.
