I insured for a couple of years with them.
If you want to call them, they sting you 6p/min in addition to your call charges - and make you wait & wait - after 5 mins I hang up. There is a 'call-back' service which then puts you in a queue - for 5 mins.
My renewal date was the 24th, so I called on the 19th to cancel the policy - but they had already auto-renewed that morning and debited my account for the full premium.
When I noticed this on my statement on the 31st, I tried calling. A joke. Emailed. Nothing - so I got cracking.
emailed one of their bosses and eventually got a call from Cust Svcs Manager who tried to infer it was my fault????
This is now open with with the Ombudsmen.
If you're into poor customer service, rotten processes and like paying to wait in endless queues - then these might be the brokers for you.
