Good Points
Easy to remove region codes and macrovision
Cheap at £100
Comes with scart lead

Bad Points
That "ping" when you eject a disc!

General Comments
Been looking for a good cheap player for a while after using pc to play dvd's for the past 18 months

Very pleased with this Dansai 852 machine so far and would recommend it to anyone, it even comes in silver to fit in with modern systems.

Hack:

"setup" on remote

on player "stop" then "prev" then "next"

this brings up hidden menu, now you can change regions and remove macrovision! Works a treat!
