I used House Trip for the first time this year and discovered that if they can't offer you your first choice, be careful because the alternatives offered by them may not match the criteria you asked for. I found this out one day before I travelled. I accepted a second choice believing that the filter system was giving me matches to my exact matches and found that my filter asking for Air Conditioning was not matched. I suffer ill health and Air Conditioning is a necessity when I go abroad. My host went out of my way to get fans sorted but House Trip offered no help even though I checked and found a match to my requirements. When I seamed to be getting my point across to their "help team" they kept reverting back to asking me my email address all the time. It was almost as if they were programmed to keep making you go around in circles. I gave up in the end which is what I think they wanted me to do. Be careful!
