“Items are not in stock despite boasting next day delivery.”

I paid £49 to have next day delivery making sure that I chose items that were showing in stock. The next day I called to find out the time of delivery and was told one system said it was being sent to dispatch and another system said they are not in stock and waiting for reorder. They said they would check and get back to me. No one came back to me until 6pm. By then I had made up my mind I wanted a refund. The gentleman said he had processed the refund whilst I was on the phone, a week later the money is still not back on my card. I wished I checked out the reviews first, got caught out by thinking they are too big to be this bad. Will call them tomorrow but I can tell it is going to be long and painful.
