Mens cycle shoes broke on second ride. I wasn't expecting them to last forever but more than one ride would have been nice. My fault I left it until outside of guarantee period before I wore them. Contacted customer services on the off chance they could try and help, or tell me where I could buy new parts, but they were not interested, just quoted guarantee period back at me after I had already said I knew they were outside it. 2 more emails met with similar reluctance to help. Maybe Lidl spending too much money on TV ads and not enough on customer services.
Moral of story, if you're going to take a chance and try their cycling shoes (which I wouldn't recommend) use them before the guarantee runs out.
Me, after such a poor experience I am off to shop at Aldi - its closer too.
