Very disappointed that TGI Fridays Cardiff St Davids 2 and several other branches of TGI Fridays do not take bookings on a Fri or Sat even if you are willing to pay a deposit. We took my 12 year old son and some friends there for his Birthday and we had to wait 45 minutes for a table. Trying to entertain a group of 11 and 12 year old boys is not easy and we couldn't sit down but had to hold a Birthday cake presents, balloons etc. Because we had estimated the time we would finish eating and asked parents to collect according to that time, we hadn't nearly finished when they arrived so the restaurant was clogged with parents waiting to collect their children. Now my daughter wants to take friends there for her 16th but I have been put off. Surely if you pay a deposit you should be able to book.
